Baked Asparagus

Step by Step

Recipe Ingredients
50g Dragon butter
2 slices Parma or smoked ham cut into thin strips
1 bundle of asparagus (preferably thin stalks)
2 heaped tablespoons grated Vintage cheddar
Black pepper and Balsamic glaze to taste
Recipe Directions
Set oven to 200C or Gas 6
Butter the base of a rectangular ovenproof dish
Sprinkle in the strips of ham
Arrange the trimmed asparagus stalks in the dish
Sprinkle over the grated cheddar and bake for 15- 20 mins until asparagus is tender
Drizzle over the balsamic glaze and grind over black pepper
Serve immediately with some warm baguette
